Itinerary
The Best of Porto City Private Tour, on this full-day option, will show you most of the major sights in the city for around 7h duration. Although the itinerary can be adjusted during the day, this is the standard itinerary:
Pickup from your hotel in Porto
Start the tour with a drive along Foz do Porto and Boavista
Pass by Sao Joao Baptista fortress, Castelo do Queijo, Casa da Musica, and Palacio Cristal
Head to Clerigos area, famous for the Tower/Church and Lello Library.
Continue to Aliados, with a walking tour, towards Santa Catarina, passing by the town hall, and Bulhão Market.
Stop for a coffee at Santa Catarina, the most iconic street of Porto
Continue the tour towards Sao Bento, the famous Train Station, with original/historical tiles
Stop for lunch, at a local restaurant (meal not included)
Continue the tour, passing by the Porto Cathedral, built 900 years ago.
Head down to the River Front area of Ribeira.
Admire the famous Dom Luis Bridge, with overlooking views towards Gaia, famous for it’s port wine cellars.
Optional visit to a local wine cellar, and sample a port wine tasting (not included).
Finish the tour, returning to your hotel in Porto.
